It’s been a lovely Memorial Day weekend. The weather is gorgeous. It’s not too cool and not too hot; the weather’s just right with its gentle breeze whispering in my ear, “This is why you live in Ludington.”
I devoted Friday to picking up and planting flowers. I worked all day while the kids were at daycare and then again after they went to bed. We had light till about ten o’clock, and that’s when I finished sweeping up my spilled soil and other bits of plant paraphernalia.

No matter how messy and/or chaotic the inside of my home may be, I can now count on looking out my back window to the cheerful images you see above. Sigh. Now where is that darn kitchen fairy? My dishes are calling…
